Saturday, May 13th, 2006 10:14 pmI was going to start this entry with squeals about English Ouendan and Super Wii Bros Brawl, but now I'm going to FREAK OUT ABOUT THE FACT THAT A RAT JUST RAN OUT FROM UNDER MUM'S COMPUTER DESK AND SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME, THEN WE COULDN'T FIND THE LITTLE BASTARD!! Ew ew ew ew EW! I am SO glad I'm staying at the aunt's at the moment, I don't think I'd be able to get to sleep if I was staying here tonight. *shudders*
And to think, the reason I came home tonight (aside from planning to leave Mum's Mother's Day present on her chair so she'd have a surprise in the morning) was so I could upload photos I just took of a bat that made it's way into AK's house. How is the flying fuzzy one is cuter than the crawling one with a tail I don't know. And let's not forget the fact that I actually WANT a rat as a pet. Mind you, tame rats are an entirely different matter than wild ones. For one thing, they're prettier colours, not brown. And they don't have diseases too. >_> Though if it was mutated to be four foot tall, walked on its hind legs and knew ninjitsu, that'd probably be a different matter. >_>
Anyway, there was a bat all the way down the end of the hallway on the speaker in the ceiling near the bathroom/laundry before! And he was there last night too, then gone this morning. I also thought I saw something fly out the door the other day too, so he must be a frequent visitor. It's weird though, he comes into the house to hide during the night and is gone during the day, he's a reverse batty, he comes out during the day and sleeps at night.
He's teeeeny, only about as big as my thumb, and is fuuuuuuzzy. That's the speaker he's hanging onto. It's a damn long way from the garage door to the bathroom too, it's at LEAST 20 metres. Possibly even 30 metres. Their house is really huge, I'm surprised he went so far in.
Oh, and for those of you that remember the Cane Toad movie that my brother-in-law's friends did, I just saw it on SBS before, after Iron Chef. That was pretty cool. :D
