Goodbye little watch, you served me well. :'(
Monday, June 5th, 2006 08:50 pmWahhhhhhhh, my Ninja Turtles watch decided to kick the bucket at work today. :( I know it wasn't going to last forever since it's only a $7 watch, but it was a good little watch, and it didn't even make it to the one year mark. :'( I even did surgery on it after work cause they have the teeny screwdrivers at the front registers, but it's still busted. :( It's not the battery cause it's still displaying stuff, it just won't let me re-set the time anymore and I can't check the date. :(
And now the death of my poor little watchy has sent me on an eBay drooling spree. I now need a new watch, so there's no reason for me not to get a Nightmare Before Christmas one that I wanted ages ago now. Except the ones I was drooling over before are now no longer available, and in their place is millions upon squillions of THESE! WHICH ARE GORGEOUS! And quite obviously fakes as there's a few different sellers selling them. One that says Located in Australia but ships "Direct from their warehouse in Asia"...last time I checked, Australia was not located in Asia, or vice versa. ¬_¬ And the other is quite obviously geared towards those stalls that set up in the aisles of shopping centres with stuff that is SO fake (100 rings in a box? 20 "Connection Infrared Virtual Electronic Pets"? Heck, there's even a display stand for watches and bangles that they say is for stalls!). But I may get one of them 'cause there's no way I could afford the even more gorgeous legit one. :( Or the just as magnificent pocket watch. However, there is also freaking sweet Full Metal Alchemist Pocket Watches ranging from legit (read: fancy expensive) to decent knock offs and some that even get the year wrong...I think, having not actually seen much of FMA. >_> Oh oh, and shiney purdy Hidden-Pirate-Island Bleach watches that come with dog tags and a Kon keychain! So many watches, so little money! FUSI! I need your ebay account! >_>
Oh, and it seems the Kingdom Hearts necklace is still there. >_> CURSE YOU MANIFEST/WII/JAPAN/OPERATION FOR MAKING ME NEED TO BE STINGY! T_T
EDIT: Hmmm, actually, this one seems like an alright Nightmare watchy, it's still probably a Hidden-Pirate-Island one, but not as blatant as the other one.
