Saturday, November 1st, 2008 01:07 pm2 weeks down, 9 to go. I've been meaning to make an entry for the last two weeks since it happened, but I got full time at work until January. Still taking bets on how long until I crack! :D
The desire to be good and save is being fought by the desire to buy some shinies after I get rid of the credit card debts. I'm going to compromise and just buy a new monitor instead of a new monitor and a new DVD player and an iPod dock. The monitor situation is getting kind of desperate, the brightness is just shit on the ole CRT, but the DVD player and dock I can do with what I have currently. Hopefully that will leave me with a sizeable amount of savings after it's all done, and with nothing on the CCs it should keep going up.
I've been thinking about upgrading my DS to a Lite too. Since wenchy got me that awesome Nightmare Before Christmas DS cover that can't be used since I still have a Phat, it pretty much demands I get one. I've been eyeing off the blue/black ones for a while now, and I has a $50 voucher for GameTraders that I won at the Anime Club cosplay (GG again Vivi). The only thing is should I trade in, or keep my Phat? It has served me well, and it is better for playing Ouendan/EBA/Daigasso on since it has better speakers, but said games are the main culprits that it doesn't like to always read anymore. And I can get $70 trade in value at GTs as well, which means I'd only have to actually pay $80 for it. Decisions decisions.
And I also have this odd urge to play Pokémon Snap. It came out of nowhere yesterday at work. Once I'm done with this last lot of Gaia event whoring think I'll go hook up the N64.
