1. Compzilla's dead. He can't boot properly, keeps looping through the start-up cycle. Timing really sucks 'cause I was gonna get the new monitor this weekend. Online presence will be sporadic (well, more so than usual) for Iunno how long. We think we got an extended warranty when we bought it, but have NFI where the paperwork is. Grrrrrrrrrrreat.
I also have no way to charge my iPod now. Which sucks because I use it to listen to music when I go to sleep. Think I'll get a dock instead of the monitor.
2. I HATE CHRISTMAS! Customers can go choke on a fart.
Some lady practically bit my head off because her layby was 2 weeks overdue and was about to be cancelled tomorrow, because I "had no compassion" as she had been out of town due to a death in the family. I'm sorry for your loss lady, but really, that was uncalled for. I'm a grunt, I parrot what I'm told to say, don't get up me because you don't like what you hear. What would you have done if it had been cancelled? Would I be a headless corpse about now? We're not psychic, how the shit were we to know that you've been out of town for the last few weeks. Which, infact, doesn't change the fact that it's an eight week layby and you haven't made any payments besides the deposit since you opened it.
Toy sale tomorrow and I left the place in a mess today. I don't care anymore, I really don't. So that's 4 weeks is the "Let it crash and burn" point apparently.
3. I've been teary since Sunday, infact I actually started crying a few times at work on Monday.
Two good things though, one of the chickys at work brought me some Pocky and YanYan today because I was feeling down on Monday. And Men in Tights is advertised at JB at the moment, I've been looking for that DVD for years.
