Another episode of random thoughts running through my head!
Tuesday, June 16th, 2009 10:53 pm1. With only 8 days to go it's getting harder every day to avoid spoilers for Revenge of the Fallen. Especially seeing as they've set up the toy display at work on the end of the aisle where the flapper doors are. My traitorous eyes keep sliding over to it every time I pass it. I managed to get to two weeks to go with only a few characters revealed to me (one by Lil' Formers, one by friends list, and one by the teaser before Wolverine who I had a feeling was in it anyway because of rumours from 2007 after the first movie came out)...and then I was in K-Mart and was considering laybying the Robot Heroes. I LOOKED, I COULDN'T HELP IT. Still, no story plot points yet. :D
2. Derek Landy, you are a bloody magnificent evil sonova genius bastard. Yes, I finished the third Skulduggery Pleasant book last week. I will say no more because of spoilers except I can has book four naow plz? D:
3. I have had urges to play Ratchet and Clank again lately. Should probably finish Ape Escape 3 first though. Damn monkeys, why are you and your remote control car so fun? And Final Fantasy IX with Kin and Secret of Mana with Heath for that matter actually. >_>
4. Been watching X-Men Evolution (finally). Up to the season one finale, which I think I'll go watch after I finish this. Dear god those uniforms were really crap. XD And Kurt is too adorable for his own good.
5. Delay on the Stinkbug coming up. Stinkbug being what my sister calls the puppies. X3 FREAKING ADORABLE! XD Anyhoo, Jetstar (who we're flying back with) doesn't carry pets, so I'm either going to fly back down one weekend (using Fly Buy points) and have a visit with Sis and fly back with Stinkbug, Sis will find someone coming up and send Stinkbug up with them, or Stinkbug will accompany Sis when she comes up for Cousin's wedding in September. Really hoping it's not the last option.
6. Must...work on...AVCon stuff...and...Manifest costumes! One month to AVCon deadline (less actually as I have to send my stock down with Kin) and two months until Manifest deadline. Both do-able, but I've really gotta get my butt in gear.
7. Gonna go laptop shopping with Kins next weekend. Just to check out what's there mostly, but I've been seriously wanting one lately. And it'll be convenient for Melbourne trips and when I go see Menchy in Japan.
8. And this last bit dedicated to Trin, and how he had the Benny Hill theme music on his phone a few years ago when him, Bronze, Kas, and I (and possibly Mouldy and Cer) had to leg it for a tram. I'm surprised we made it, I was laughing so hard.
Yakety Sax can make ANYTHING funny! +1 Although I couldn't help but feel bad while laughing at the Lion King one. The Pirates of the Caribbean one was especially well done though, nice timing. And Captain Jack Sparrow's movements seem to be made for this trope. XD
