Adventures in bean bags.
Sunday, November 15th, 2009 09:49 pmI...think I might have just had the most brilliant/batshit insane idea ever.
M'kay, so I've had bean bags on the brain this weekend, having to transfer beans and wash bags over the last couple of days (and having to spend probably a couple of hours combined picking up escaped beans after a few minor explosions). And I also found this website while poking around during a fit of boredom. Besides now wanting this hoodie, I had the insane idea of making Pokémon character bean bags. Which my brain then of course immediately jumped to Transformer character bean bags. I now have the perfectly formed picture in my mind of vehicle mode Animated Bumblebee and Optimus Prime bean bags. Bumblebee because, well, it's 'Bee, and Prime because he would probably make for a pretty comfy bean bag actually. His shape is roughly the same as a bean bag, turn him around and lounge against his back and on his wheel wells.
I also have no idea if I have the skills to pull something like this off either.
Of course, there's no way I'd be able to even begin attempting this until after Japan. Money and time constraints and all that. And I'd have to squeeze it in between AVCon/Manifest costumes and getting off my slagging lazy arse and doing those damn Decepticubes. I really should make up a list of all the projects I want to do, it might make me get off my arse about some of them. >_> Perhaps it's time to follow in Kin's footsteps and get a whiteboard so that they're staring me in the face every day.
