Ironically, this was partially brought on by this new icon.
Monday, January 25th, 2010 07:14 pmOkay, that does it. I am staying off the computer and internet in the mornings from now on. I don't have to start work until 2pm 4 out of 5 days, that's god damn heaps of time that I could be using to do any number of things, like
- Arting. I still have the Ani-cubes to paint, among other ideas for paintings that I've had percolating in my brain.
- Reading. Still want to re-read through the entire Animorph series, and there's two Redwall books I've bought over the last few years and still haven't read.
- Going through my ever growing back catalogue of games. Currently stuck in Zelda: Spirit Tracks, 4 hours into Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, can't remember what I was doing in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (although I am through more than the 10 hours Yahtzee claimed it was), and I bought the Lost Winds: Winter of the Melodias and Final Fantasy: My Life as a Darklord on WiiWare this morning, and after playing Jo's copy last night I want to get one of the Professor Layton games as I got through more puzzles than I was expecting. And that's only the games I've bought in the last couple of months!
- Cosplays. I do not want to be doing another last minute rush in July/August again.
The only reason Percy or Compzilla are allowed on in the mornings from now on are if
a) I need a walkthrough from GameFAQS or something
b) I'm looking up something for costume/art reference
c) Anything monetary is involved
d) If mother has turned 'Zilla on for her procrastination/computery needs.
I also want to take Blitz for a walk in the morning as soon as I wake up before it gets too hot in the day, to stop both her and I from sleeping in to all hours of the morning. Unfortunately, due to the advent of the cyclone/wet season (Y HALO THAR PERPETUAL RAIN FOR THE LAST THREE DAYS!) this shall have to be something that goes on a day by day basis for a while.
And yes, the icon speaks the truth about Japan photos too.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand I just saw on the Nintendo website that Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver are getting an Aus release on March 25th. With the Pokéwalker! Goodbye more time come Easter!
