It was going to be 5 Happys, but the last one came with a flip side. >_>
Numbah 1!
We now have a loose leaf tea store in town. A loose leaf tea store. Here. Loads of different varieties of sweet delicious aromatically flavoured nummy tea. WOOT!
*sips freshly brewed cup of Tropical Star*
Mmmmm nomnom tasty. :9
Numbah 2!
Cartoons! :D Animaniacs has recently started playing on free-to-air again. Ahh, they just don't make cartoons like this anymore. Though I never noticed just how song happy the Warner Siblings were the first time around.
The new Thundercats cartoon is pretty sweet too. Kevin Michael Richardson may be odd as Bulkhead, but he makes a pretty perfect Panthro!
Numbah 3!
Last day of work today before holidays! Which means 5 days until I fly to Melbourne and 6 days until The Living End time! :D WOOHOO!
Numbah 4!
Double discount at work means I finally grabbed the Transformers Vault book. I do loves me some coffee table books full of interesting stuff. AND AND, the new Skulduggery Pleasant came out too. YOINK! :3
Which brings us to Numbah 5! Aka the halfsie happy.
KRE-O KITS SHOWED UP AT WORK YESTERDAY! HOMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED UP LOCALLY-wait, they're HOW MUCH? Between $23 for Mirage and ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS FOR OPTIMUS? D: Geez Hasbro, what are you trying to pull here exactly? The Aussie Dollar is doing pretty well against the US one, why exactly are we paying over TWICE the price? o_O What, do you ship them all to America then ship them back across the same ocean to us?
Horse, if there's another Buy one Get one half price/free whatever on the Kre-O kits, I may have to cave andask beg you to snag and post 'em for me. >_>
Now, off to get ready for this last shift of work. Then, HOLIDAYS! :D
EDIT: Bonus lulz! I was having a wee bit of a cartoon spamathon this morning, going through the backlog of stuff I'd recorded to try and clear some space on my PS3's hard drive. Mum comes out and looks at the list and goes "You record the brave and the bold?!"
*takes two seconds to realise what she actually meant*
Me: "Yeah, 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold'. Not 'The Bold and the Beautiful'." xD

Date: 02/09/2011 02:12 am (UTC)now that you've caved and decided that Kre-Os are kewl? ;)And oh, another Animaniacs fan?? Glee! The fact that Yakko = Air Raid/Slingshot has never ceased to fill me with the happies. I get mental images of the Aerialbots bursting into song. XD

Date: 02/09/2011 02:34 am (UTC)LegoKre-O blocks I wasn't going to use, but then two things changed my mind.1) Bumblebee was so damn fun to put together, and 2) they don't seem so expensive anymore after seeing the AU prices. xD I'm all for supporting the local market, but this is just ridiculous!
There's no rush though, I'm happy to wait for them to show up on sale again, :) You are the bestest! <3
Dude, I love all the Spielberg era Warner Bros cartoons from the 90s. Freakazoid's my favourite though, but the Animaniacs come a close second! And here's one that'll mess with your head. Runt (the dog that accompanies the singing cat Rita) was voiced by Frank Welker. MEGATRON IS A DIPPY DOG THAT CAN'T TELL THE CAT HE'S HANGING OUT WITH IS A CAT! xD That's almost as mind screwy as finding out Peter Cullen also voiced EEYORE! x3

Date: 04/09/2011 12:06 pm (UTC)Less than zero. In her mind, a TF is perfect only if it (a) pops up and (b) talks with a show-accurate voice. She's fussy that way XD
