Mikey's in the hiz-ouse!

*has a convulsed story of twists and turns to bring her to the point of the entry, but can't think of an amusing way to write them down, so gives them in point form*

- Mum's been trying to take us horse-riding on a trail ride for a few weeks, Sunday's was cancelled, so was re-booked for Wednesday
- Said Wednesday trail ride left at 9am, so was early to bed for Ghaz on Tuesday night
- left net at 8:30 to watch CSI with all intentions of going to bed straight after at 10:30
- Instead of going to bed played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on GCN >_>

Which brings me to my point, I finished TMNT with Mikey on Tuesday night! :D Was surprised actually, Shredder was no real trouble in the GCN version, I STILL haven't beaten him on the GBA one. Mega tricky there. Anyhoo, got treated to the final cut scene (nice mo-cap in there), and credits, and up pops a password. T'was after midnight by this point, nearing 1am methinks, so I jotted it down and decided to quickly check it out before I went to bed. Few quick button presses and I was informed that Michaelangelo had a new costume. "Ooooh, I must see this" I think, so off I go to the story mode and select said orange bandanna'd terrapin ("Mikey's in the hiz-ouse!" XD I love that line). Up pops the little selection karate movie thing you get when you select your turtle. But Mikey was a little different this time, cause they'd slapped him in his Turtle Titan costume. XD I nearly caked myself laughing, it was so hard to laugh silently so I wouldn't wake everyone else up. Man that gave me a good buzz before I went to bed. It's really good too, they change his render in all the cut scenes so when he's costumed he's costumed throughout the whole story, it's a crack-up to play like that.

Oh, and the trail ride was cancelled on Wednesday morning, so it didn't matter that I didn't go to bed right away. ^_^;


So what did I do instead on Wednesday you may ask? Well I'm glad you did, because my Amazon goodies that I ordered in June started turning up. :D First shipment I got had my super shiney special collectors Lion King DVD box set, Lion King 1 1/2 (I just couldn't have Lion King 3 that they're selling it as here, so I'm picky :P ), Beast Wars season 2 DVD set (x2 one for me, one for Fusi), Season 1 DVD of the new CGI Spider-Man 'toon (done by my favourite CGI show company, Mainframe, the creators of Beast Wars), Lion King Broadway show CD soundtrack, Nightmare Before Christmas CD soundtrack, and the Transformers Ultimate Guide (those books are so cool). Spent a good chunk of yesterday watching the Lion King special features and reading the TFUG. Stayed up until 2am watching the Spider-Man special features. >_>; Man that show looks kick arse, can't wait to actually watch it. Wanted to watch it today, but parent insisted on an outing to the beach instead. Which wasn't too bad, because we checked the post box again, and waiting for me today was the TF G1 War & Peace TPB! :D Prolly shouldn't have read it in the car though, I felt kinda woozy and had a slight headache when we got back. And when I come online tonight I find an email waiting for me to tell me that the rest of my stuff has been shipped! :D So hopefully sometime next week I'll get more goodies.


Ahh crap, forgot to set the video to tape Cheez TV tomorow. Better go then.
