Went to the library after work today, it'd been a while since I'd been down and wanted to pilfer their graphic novel supply. I amass a healthy pile and go buff it with the 2 magazine limit, then inwardly groan when a quick headcount reveals more than the 8 book limit. "It's been a while since I've been down," brain thinks, "may as well ask if the limit's increased, just to see." I enquire with the gentleman behind the counter and he informs me that no, it's not actually 8 books and 2 magazines anymore, it is now a total of 12 items, whatever combination of books and magazines you wish! Score! :D
A quick trip back to where I'd deposited the leftovers then off to the loans desk! Merrily I hand over the card and chat the small talk one does with the same gent as before, when it appears there's a bit of a problem! "Have I fallen out of the system again?" I ask. "Not quite. >_> It says there's a $50 fee for a magazine you borrowed last May."

Cue me giving my best "O_o" look complete with "Guh-juh-wha-huh?!" sound effect. Now admittedly I was a little late bringing stuff back last time, and I could be considered am pretty forgetful, but SEVEN MONTHS? o_O I could swear that I returned everything, but it seems that an issue of Gamepro has been eaten by my room. That's the only explaination I have and I'm sticking to it. >_> I didn't even get any overdue notices in the mail, which is really odd since the library only has our PO box and it couldn't get eaten by the re-mis-directing monster. Well the librarian dude poked around in the computer to see why a US$5.99 magazine would have an AU$50 replacement charge, couldn't come up with a logical reason, wiped it (I think), had me pay the overdue charges and then loaned me my pile. Seems I'll be doing some spelunking in my room this weekend to try and find the bugger. Here's hoping it doesn't eat me too.
Three updates in three days? I'm not going to touch this thing again for three months am I? XD
Update on the TV too, turns out it's still under warranty, score! :D Now all we have to do is find the blasted receipt and get it fixed before June. And find some way of getting it to the repair people, which is going to be interesting considering its size. <_<'
