Drives, Transformers and TVs, oh my!
Thursday, January 25th, 2007 10:25 amI could've sworn that I'd upgraded all of my Drive forms in KHII. >_> But I had another bash at some of the Jiminy's Journal that I still needed to get last night and it turns out that I had 2 more levels on Valor, Wisdom and Master, and a whopping four more on Final! Silly me! Although, once they've been fully powered up this could make that damn Poster Duty a bit easier to get in under 30 seconds.
In other news, Takara has gone nuts (the good kind), and finally turned Soundwave into a fully functional MP3 player! I don't want one, cause it runs from SD cards, and I've only seen 2GB as the biggest on those things locally. Mere pifflings compared to the 30gig Oblivion gives me. I do however, want one of these! An iPod docking station in Prime's trailer. How slagging awesome! XD There was a side effect to this awesome insanity though, actual insanity insaneness, in the form of transforming shoes. They're even wearing teeny little versions of themselves in robot mode! X'D
And I somehow have to find $170 to get to Transfigure Toys so I can get me a shiny Masterpiece Megatron. As much as I'm not really a Decepticon fan, that is one fine looking evil overlord. Plus it comes with Kremzeek (lets see how many non-TF geeks get that one! My guess [without google] zero), so that's an instant +10 cool points right there!
TV's actually going well, we have an invoice of purchase, it's still covered under warranty, all that needs now is for it to be collected and taken to the repair agents! The dude that was picking it up was just here, but there was a teensy snafoo. There was only one of him. For a 4 foot high and who knows how heavy rear projection television. Which he already had one of similar size in the back of his van so it wouldn't have fitted in there anyway! I believe Clay's blessing of the Armstrong luck upon me has struck again. ¬_¬
Dude said he'd try and come back today before lunch with help to try again, fingers crossed we have success this time so poor Sora and Link don't have to be confined to the evil 4:3 ratio for much longer.
Picking up Wario Ware this afternoon too, what perfect timing for a public holiday multiplayer session. You'd almost think Nintendo had planned it. ¬_¬ Kina wants to get Guitar Hero II as well, so we're off on a mission for that tonight! Gamings all rounds, huzzah! :D
P.S. Psst, Fusi. Takara's also re-releasing a lot of Beast Wars stuff, including Tigatron.
