Thursday being Thursday and all, last night I went over to bum around with Kina and watch Heroes at her place. And since Eternal Sonata had arrived at the house the night before there was the oppportunity to commandeer the White Box of Doom. But certain ferrets had other plans. Before Kin and I could play the 360 I had to go through a SIDE QUEST! *dundundunnnnnn* Heath was bored yesterday it seems.

Opening the game case provided no Eternal Sonata disc, instead there was Fable. "Meh," I think, "Someone's just swapped the discs instead of finding the proper case, no biggie." Me being anal about shit like that I get the Fable case to swap it out....and find a PS2 game instead. Okay, now there's some crazy shit going on, but I reach for the Drakenguard case, and open it to find Atler Iris 3 (think that's how it's spelt), which lead to Magna Carta, which lead to Jak II, which lead to Dirge of Cerberus, which lead to Halo 3, which lead to Kameo, which lead to Viva Pinata, which lead to Shadowrun, which was empty! "The end of the road," I thought, incorrectly. So I set about putting everything back where it belongs thinking that Eternal Sonata was still in the XBox where it had been left the night before. Wrongo. By this time I had an audience and Heath poked me about what was in the Shadowrun case, cause there was a Post It with "Turtle Parrot knows all" Brain finally catches on to what's going on, and I head down to Ferret-face's room to check out the little turtle plush Heath has. Underneath, another Post It.

"Catch the beagle." Okay, so it's off to see Hin outside, where Reggie and Heath get her stirred up so I do actually have to chase her. And she's impossible to catch when she's spastic. But, Hinny's sick at the moment so I'm a party pooper, give them a glare, and just sit down and call her over. On her tag there's another Post It.

"I want to go for a walk." Off to Chella's room then. By this time there's a full on party formed, four of us traipsing all over the house. But we get to the leash and surprise surprise, there's another Post It.

"Let's go do some gardening." To the Greenhouse! Which was pretty pointless because it was dark by this time, but then there's Heath with a flashlight. I'm looking, I'm looking, I'm looking, and there it is, a Message in a Bottle. In the form of another Post It, of course.

"I have to wash my clothes." "Ohhh no, I am not going through your stinky clothes," I says. Thankfully, it's just at the washing machine. I'm too tall to spot it though, and am instructed to go down to Chella Height, where I finally spot the damn Post It stuck to the very bottom of the machine.

"Seek out the fluffy Shigure." Shigure was written in Japanese. I had no clue that it said to find 'Gure, but seeing as Kin had the largest collection of plush in the house, off to her room! Poke through her pile of squishies and Shigure seems to have acquired a collar, and tucked behind it is yet another Post It!

"Something to do with Reggie's airconditioning." Can't quite remember what that one said exactly, but I figure Heath would be an arse and stick it to the outside of it because where that particular air conditioning unit is is in perfect head bashing height for me. But nope, nothing outside, so back inside we go, and oh no! A dreaded Reggie is blocking the way! Little punk didn't follow us outside, instead he just went straight into his room and locked the door. Managed to get him to open up by promising him some old Disney sheet music I have (really should look for that so I can take it over tonight actually), and on his air-con's controls is, you guessed it, another Post It.

"Mail the speed of a snail." (complete with little snail picture). Back outside to the mail box, and my next Post It instruction leads me to...

"You must face your greatest fear and defeat the Mighty Poo-Dragon!" OH DEAR GOD THEY WANT ME TO GO IN THE UPSTAIRS TOILET!? That's a dangerous and festy place and no sane person ventures in there voluntarily. But, there is Eternal Sonata hanging in the balance, and so I approach the door with trepidation. Treading oh so very carefully I stand as far from the bowl as possible and stretch over to pluck the Post It from the side of the tank.

"Time to Eternal Sonata." To the wall clock in the living room! I peer through the glass and see nothing. Now, this clock is a fair age, so I'm less than entusiastic to touch it, so I don't bother opening it up. Instead I think he's trying to be tricky and check Chel's digitial clock. Nup nothing there. There's another digital clock in Clay and Heath's room, away we go! Nope, nothing there and I scare Clay by telling him about the Side Quest (seeing as it's his game and all). There was a drawing of a clock face on the last clue, so I head back to the living room and lo and behold, there's some yellow peeking out at me from inside the clock now! It was actually in there before, Butch just spoiled the game and turned the case around while we were checking out Chel and Clay's rooms.

At last, the treasure has been found and the Side Quest is at an end! *DING* We level up and I dread to think what the little punk's going to come up with for next week.

So then Kina and I played Eternal Sonata, fought over who's going to cosplay as Frederic next year, watched Heroes, and arted some. She let me get high on her Prismas level up my marker colouring skillz. BOOM, Headshot! (no clue where the hell that idea came from, but it wouldn't leave me alone). I like drawing the SD type TFs, even if I do need practise with hands. And and and, I bought some Sakura Microns on Wednesday, I felt poor! But I figured I needed to move onto the next stage and stop trying to clean up everything as a pencil drawing and start inking the lines.

Man you get up to some wacky crap up there.

Up to Chapter 5 of Eternal Sonata now. I even put off buying Ratchet & Clank on PS3 today so I have time to finish it.
